Vecellio, Tiziano

(1477 Cadore-8/27/1576 Venice) (Italy); aka Titian

   Painter, draughtsman, and printmaker. Considered among the greatest artist of the Venetian school. His works feature a sensuality and sometimes erotic interpretation of traditional themes, as well as portraits of courtesans.
